Why Dance?
Ballroom Dancing can be a way to meet new people
and make new friends, a way to open up new
possibilities in a relationship you already have, a
varied and ever-changing form of exercise, or even a
competitive sport. Or, it can simply be a relaxing way
to take time off from the normal stresses of everyday
life.
And with that fun comes the satisfaction we always
feel when we get better and better at a new skill, and
even finding ourselves mastering things we had
admired and thought beyond us when we first saw
them. Finally, although I don't know whether anyone
starts taking lessons in ballroom dancing to improve
posture or muscle tone or stamina, don't be surprised
if you start noticing changes in these areas ... and if
the people around you don't start noticing them.
But one thing dancing should
always be is FUN!
