As for having fun in your lessons, you'll never
know for sure until you try. But I'd be happy to
introduce you to some of my other students,
from Beginning Bronze Level to Advanced
Gold, who can tell you about their own
experience.

If there is a special event for which you or you
and your partner need either a quick course in
the basics or a surefire solo performance, I
can guide you to success on the dance floor
there too. Don't be surprised, though, if you
decide to come back for more.
Dancing with Aimee
As a professional dance instructor for over 15 years, I can promise you a
sometimes exhilarating, sometimes challenging, always rewarding experience.
I've trained in Los Angeles, New Orleans, and
Dallas,
I've passed rigorous certification exams to
teach students at all levels from beginner
through advanced, and
continue to be coached by national and world
champions to bring my knowledge and
technical skills to even higher levels.
Through all my training and teaching, I've kept
two goals uppermost: when students take
lessons, they want to make progress and they
want to have an enjoyable time doing it. To
achieve the first of these, we'll work at your pace
-- well, I may push a bit to help you gett to where
I know you can be -- through a series of tried and
true stages and level, with of course some
innovations of my own.
I'll encourage you to try a variety of Smooth Dances, like Waltz, Fox Trot, and
Tango, and Rhythm Dances, like Swing, Rumba, Cha Cha, and Salsa. Though most
students start out preferring one group or even one dance, it's best to sample. For
one thing, what may come easiest for you in one dance will help in others. For
another, give them all a chance and you'll probably find your favorites changing as
you learn moves and patterns in each. Some of my most wild and crazy Swingers
started out only wanting to Waltz, and I've had Salseras and Salseros turn out to be
as smooth as silk gliding across the floor to a Fox Trot.
